Non-controlled medications are your everyday medications like antidepressants, anti-psychotics, blood pressure medication, and other over-the-counter medication.  To reduce the risk to Omaha chidren, you are now able to take unused non-controlled medication to any local HyVee Pharmacy for safe disposal.  For those who are unable to take their medication to a local HyVee, the Drug Enforcement Administration hosts national prescription drug take back events twice a year.  You can find your nearest take back location by following the link under the "DEA Take Back" heading on this page.
